A New Year, a new Tom's Publicity!
Tom's January Publicity
20/12/2018
New Year resolutions will now be at the forefront of all our minds and if your husband has promised you that he will do something I can only say, “Ladies, if a man says he will fix it, he will. There is no need to remind him every six months”.
One thing worth reminding everyone however is - that if you decide to join the Fordingbridge Camera Club after 1st February our subscriptions for this club year are halved. And what may you get for this bargain, I hear you ask. We are a friendly, go-ahead club and meet at Avonway Community Centre at 7.30pm on Wednesdays. Our website, www.fordingbridgecameraclub.org.uk , has our programme for the rest of the season. It is a mixture of talks by visiting top photographers and provides opportunities to show your work on the highest quality equipment. This is helpfully commented on by experienced photographic judges. In addition to our regular meetings we are devoting many evenings for those who want, as a group, to set themselves new challenges and then to review the results collectively. Visitors are welcome to any item on the programme for a small fee. 13th February is devoted to members discussing, and showing how they learned from their mistakes. 27 February 27th is given over to a well known photographer of portraits and musicians, Rob Barron. His website at www.rjbaron.co.uk/live/ displays some of his work. Jeff Morgan, a noted photographer of portraits, beauty portraits and still life will be showing and talking about some of his work on 6th March. 27th March is given over to two of our very experienced members, Ashley and Julie, talking about Practical Wedding Photography.
And thinking of New Year resolutions, we should always remember that - If it weren’t for marriage, men would spend their lives thinking they had no faults at all.
