The parish magazines are printing again, so some normality returns.

For most of us, the holiday season in previous years would now be in full swing.
For old times sake I fished out my passport and thought as I looked at my photo, “You’re almost certainly not well enough to travel!” I’m young at heart, but considerably older in other places.
It’s been Monday every day since the lock down. I only know what day it is when I look at my calendar pill box each morning.
I just let my mind wander, and it doesn’t come back again.
The Fordingbridge Camera Club has broken up for the season but our Committee has done sterling work over the last few months keeping the Club together with weekly Zoom meetings where current work can be seen and professional photographic speakers could give their talks and photos in virtual reality. We had a talk on Astrophotography by our external Speaker David Brown which took us billions of miles away from our travel plans.
The good news is that Club will re-start again in September and we hope these will be physical meetings if all goes well.
Our website; www.fordingbridgecameraclub.org.uk will have our new programme. We meet at Avonway Community Centre at 7.30pm most Wednesdays of the season. It is a mixture of talks by visiting top photographers coupled with opportunities to show your work on top class facilities and have it commented on by experienced photographic judges. Visitors are always welcome for a small fee.
Advice if you are visiting a clinic - Never trust a doctor whose office plants have all died – or when the medicine he prescribes makes you walk like a crab – and he replies, “Ah, yes, those will be the side effects.” If you are thinking of travelling to other far off strange places where the English language is rare, why not try beautiful Yorkshire? If someone wants to say: “It isn’t in the tin.” It is pronounced, “Tintintin.” “Mamma Mia!” is a kid telling his mother that he’s arrived home.
