Tom's November Publicity

When typing it is possible to miss, add or change a letter accidentally. Sometimes you inadvertently create a new word. My odd-ball dictionary lists a few : “Alphapet”, could that be a Top Dog: could “Catthroat” be a ruthless kitten: could “Limoswine” be a vehicle for transporting rich pigs?
However, there is no doubt about the meaning of “Fordingbridge Camera Club”. We are a friendly, go-ahead club meeting at Avonway Community Centre at 7.30pm on alternate Wednesdays. Our website, www.fordingbridgecameraclub.org.uk has the programme for the season. It contains a mixture of talks by visiting top photographers. Our speaker on Wednesday, 4th December will be a professional landscape, seascape and travel photographer, David Capp, with a talk entitled “Behind The Scenes”. David is a regular contributor to photographic publications and runs many photographic training courses. Visit his website, www.davidclapp.co.uk to see his portfolio of images, be inspired and re-enthused and come and hear him.
Our programme also includes the opportunity to show your work and have it commented on by experienced photographic judges who incorporate helpful comments and guidance. In addition to our regular meetings, we devote many evenings to Practical Photography, to help members who are new-comers to photography. These sessions are very popular but are only open to club members. Visitors are welcome to all other events for a small fee.
A final thought, would “Satisfraction” describe the small bit of joy I would get if any photo of mine should ever be praised? Or can the devaluing of this literary composition, by the insertion of too many grammatical marks, be described as “Puncturation?
