Tom's June Publicity

04/06/2017
The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese - life is full of contradictions.
The good news is that summer is here; the bad news is that we are having another election and Fordingbridge Camera Club Year is almost at an end. But now is the ideal time to take your camera out and capture some wonderful photographs. We live in a lovely area with magnificent views and abundant wild life. We should record these images now as memories and to show to our friends. And where better to show the results of your summer than at the Fordingbridge Camera Club?
We re-start in September, which will give you plenty of time to take those earth-shattering images you know you are capable of producing! Our website, www.fordingbridgecameraclub.org.uk has our programme.
We meet at Avonway Community Centre at 7.30pm most Wednesdays of the season. It is a mixture of talks by visiting top photographers coupled with opportunities to show your work and have it commented on by experienced photographic judges. Visitors are always welcome for a small fee.
In addition to our regular meetings we are devoting many evenings for those who want, as a group, to set themselves new challenges and then to review the results collectively. These additional sessions have proven to be very popular but are only open to club members.
We will be at many of the local country shows throughout the summer; Sandleheath 17th June, St Mary’s Church Festival 1st and 2nd July, the Fordingbridge Festival on Saturday 15th July, Frogham Fair on Saturday July 29th. .
Ellingham Show follows on Saturday August the 12th.
You can see samples of our work there and have the opportunity to tell us what you want from a camera club.
You never know, we may already provide it.
Take care when travelling however - have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot and anyone driving faster is a maniac
