Tom's August Publicity

Now that Fordingbridge Camera Club’s season has finished , what should one do to fill the gap until we return in September? Well, as always, the best advice is to keep your camera with you at all times. We live in a very attractive part of the country and there are so many wonderful things to see and to record. Local country shows, in particular, have a wonderful range of images; from interesting people engrossed in watching an event to a telling juxtaposition at the event that turns a snap into a picture.

Summer shows are in abundance in the next few months and Fordingbridge Camera Club will be present at most of them.
We have a stand at the popular Fordingbridge Summer Festival on Saturday 20th July.
We will also be at the Ellingham Show on the 10th of August and at Frogham Fair on the 24th of the month.
Call in and see the work we produce or just pop in to say hello. You can tell us what you want from a camera club and we will see if we can match your needs.

Our website, www.fordingbridgecameraclub.org.uk shows the work of our members and could give you some ideas for your own photography. We are a friendly, go-ahead club meeting at Avonway Community Centre at 7.30pm on alternate Wednesdays and our season restarts on 11th of September.

And to finish with a Thought for the Day – You can’t have everything. Where would you put it?
